i have been doing more sewing then drawing or painting. and i am doing a lot of home renovations. a new studio is in the works since i just cant get myself to go down to the basement to paint.
hopefully it all comes together.

my brother in law asked me to make some artwork for his band. i was kind of iffy on it bc i dont really do that kind of thing. but i wound up really enjoying it. i sat and listened to the music and drew out some thumbnails of what was popping into my head at the time. today i sat down to watch horror movies and pulled out my pastels. i was gonna use watercolors but im SO glad i did the pastels instead. the colors turned out so vibrant.
also on a plus note, im rearranging my "kitchen" into a studio bc we never EAT in the kitchen. so i can do all my art except the oils in the kitchen at my drafting table and sewing table. its awesome
